Explore beautiful Caribbean islands, unspoiled settings with gorgeous beaches, fantastic snorkelling and scuba diving, friendly people, warm tropical water and a perfect climate.Jambalaya's interior is comfortably designed to accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 private cabins.
Ride up the west coast of Grenada in a custom-built safari boat.
There are two versions of this: one on a luxury catamaran, one on a motor boat.
Cruise up the smooth, Caribbean west coast, with views of little bays, colourful fishing villages and the gorgeous green hills beyond. Then round the north coast of Grenada, encountering choppy water which really lets you know you’re on the sea.
Apart from all the fish and the coral, don’t forget our underwater sculpture park!
Most of our snorkelling is on the west coast, and from boats, rather than from a beach – so you need to be a competent swimmer. There is a wide choice of providers, from short and sweet dedicated snorkelling trips to snorkelling as a component of longer sails and ‘marine adventures’.
Come fishing on a fast, comfortable twin diesel engine, 31ft boat. It has a full cabin with head (toilet), refrigerator and shaded seating. Guests may catch a wide range of fish from barracuda, wahoo, dorado, yellowfin tuna, blue marlin, sailfish etc ranging in size from a few pounds to over 500lb.
Take a morning out in search of the ‘other’ locals, with names like Short Fin Pilot, Sei, Dwarf and Pigmy Sperm. And then there are the dolphins: common, Spotted, Bottle Nosed, Frazers… A sighting cannot be guaranteed, but even if the whales are out when you call, it’s an exhilarating morning on the water.
Pack your high factor sunscreen, your hat, your shades and your expectations. Set sail up the west coast on a luxury catamaran. Snorkel at the underwater sculpture park, the first of its kind anywhere in the world. Afterwards, sail past the magnificent Grand Anse beach, round the tip of Point Salines, between the airport and tiny Glover Island, and along the scenic southern coast to Hog Island.
This superb day of colours,
sounds and movements is the
crowning glory of any trip to
the Caribbean. A 25-minute bird’seye-
view flight along the east coast
of Grenada in a small plane takes
you to Union Island. You are met at
the airport and taken to:
Scaramouche, a magnificent 80’
Carriacou-built schooner which
appeared (disguised!) in ‘Pirates of
the Caribbean’.
