We take you to Fort George, with magnificent views over the town and out to sea; and we outline its role in Grenada's history, including the assassination of Maurice Bishop in 1983.
Then down into the market, which is at its most busy and bustling on Saturdays. You can browse among the spices, fruits and vegetables of the island. You have time to look around town and shop in the Esplanade (cruise ship) mall, Young Street, and elsewhere.
On the way 'home', we drop in at the Craft Centre, which has a good range of souvenirs, soap, pottery ...and insect repellent!
